OK, my car is leaving thick black oil on the garage floor. It isn't from the tranny because thats new clean gear lube. I have some minor oil drips coming off the engine, but again that's also clean, not at all like the black goo on the floor. Oil cooler leaking maybe? If so how do I get to it to check and tighten mounting screws or whatever? Thanks.

If you have HE's they can harbour and cook oil. The goo that is left can find its way
to the ground, almost looks like tar. |
