Just bought an engine with the number *6405504*
Can anyone confirm that it is an original 914-6 engine, what year and what car # it might have come out of ??? Any info on a 914/11H gearbox serial # A0007/35 would also be appreciated. Thanx in advance for your help ... Ed |

this listing at the pelican page is kind of strange (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
they list the 916 as a 1969 built model - and they tell us wrong relations about built year and VIN in most cases (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) anyhow - the engine in question is a real 914-6 engine from MY'70, US spec. (901/38) should belong to a 914-6 with a late VIN (about 914.0.43.25xx or so) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wavey.gif) Gustl |
