Hi,
I got this information about a silver/black 914-6 in SF. No pics yet. Anyone here who can look at the car? The car is in the San Francisco area. I am willing to buy that one, if everything is okay. Colors: Silver and black The car has not been restored I have records It has the original engine and transmission This is an original 6, not a conversion NO RUST, always in a dry climate The car is almost completely as delivered with a few small tweaks to make it more drivable: Side shift transmission linkage (much more positive) 15 x 6 Fuchs wheels Webers rejetted from California to European spec MSD CD box The engine is super smooth. This is a really excellent original car. Please let me know. Thanks Oliver |

I think all '71's had the later bumper. I know my '71 four did. Calling the early bumper the "six bumper" is a misnomer as all '70's had the "square bumper" and I " think" all '71's had the rounded one.
