So, when my speedometer no longer told me I was speeding through West Marin backroads, I pulled over right away and sure enough, the speedo drive was hangin down and loosing metal by the second.
It came apart in a way I have never seen, and I can't find a pic in Hanes manual either. See the part below. It looks like it might press fit back together, but it might be broken since neither of the 2 shafts want to turn. What's up? I am hoping this will be an easy fix, but won't hesitate to get a new part if I need to. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
