So you six guys know I had aside shift trans in te 70 car. Shifted like crap, bushings were shot.
So this morning I get it up in the air and replace them. nice and snug right, so now it won't go into 1st and reverse because the rod hits the early engine mount bar. Yanking it all out again and replacing the bar with a late bar. Just came in for a beer. Yanking the heat exchangers to replace with 2.0L SSI and 2.0L bursch muffler. This should put the tail pipe in line with the cutout in the rear valance. Them SSI pieces are ssssooo much lighter than them ratteling boat anchors. Nuthing like wrenching on a teener.
