On Saturday I will be leaving the Boxster at home and taking the 914 out to play. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap.gif) I have changed carbs (mine are being rebuilt), master-cylinder (mine was leaking, put in a later model 911 type), changed fluids, adjusted points, timing, put new wheels and tires on. Fixed the 5 pt harness (previous owner had bolted both ends of the shoulder straps to the car - made it real hard to get into, and the 5th part of the harness was missing - no crotch strap - its there now). Still need to adjust the shifter rods but that won't happen tonight - most likely need to change bushings too.
Wish me luck. Mike |
