Just like clockwork! Something got in the way. Has happened for too many years. My second case of pneumonia this time! Apparently you become predisposed to this ailment after having it once. Mild case, but severe to me! Told to stay home for a few days. Got those little red pills too.

Too bad, because I had a bunch of concours/near concours parts to peddle.

Have fun boys - stay dry!

You guys do what you gotta - I've been working with Racer Chris and Mepstein to make sure the canopies are set up and ready to go when you get there.

So who scored some cool parts? Where are the rest of the photos? Did Zymurgist find any takers for the nine-eleben?

No, just tire kickers. The for-sale corral was dead. Probably a combination of the rain and Easter weekend. Got a few e-mails from my Pelican ad though.

Kevin had a booth ~2 rows up from us. We bought some parts for the race car from him. :-)

Was a seriously good time. If you were scared off by the weather forecast - your loss. The rain was over by ~ 10am, by noon it was getting warm, and by the time we got back to the motel to get our drink on most of us had sunburns. And I got some great parts for my car.

Sunday, Don, Britt, Scott, Mike and I were the last to leave the motel. The cleaning "lady" was seriously pissed at us. We had done some cleanup the night before, but not enough. I gave her a $35 tip and told her "Sorry for being a pain in the ass." You would have thought I'd given her a brick of gold. I guess she never gets tips at that motel, as she went from mean to super nice to us.

Finding out that the AX we all thought was Sunday had been the week before due to Easter sucked. But it it meant that I got to go kayaking sunday afternoon. Judging by the pictures in the other thread.... I could stand the exercise! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Saw a bald eagle, osprey, ducks and geese and otters.
