Oh sorry. If you go to Youtube to watch the video, it is in the description. I didn't think about not being able to read the description when it is embedded here. Hhere it is:

The Audi cup holder part number is: 4B0862634D

Also, I think the carrier could be 3D printed printed. I've always wanted a 3D printer and might have to bite the bullet.

I'm pretty sure that would work. I'm working on posting more details on my build thread and will probably cross-post to a new thread. I came up with another interesting idea while figuring this out I'll post up too.

Installed the "Becker Europa" which I had on the shelf in the garage for many years. Didn´t work at first until I found a small rupture on the circuit board. Great solid piece from a time past when German engeneering was top. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Unfortunately no more but a few AM stations here in Europe.

Can't believe it's been almost 3 months since I've logged in here....busy on other stuff, prepping engine bay to re-install the engine has been laborious, tedious, aggravating, slow. A PO did a half-axx job of spraying the bay with black paint and getting it off for a repaint in original Malaga Red a nightmare. Only media-blasting would get it off.

BUT, in the meantime got my Mahle's powder-coated by a top local shop, and picked them up today. Yes, I'm a happy camper. Excuse me - a happy TEENER!

I got them from KevinW and they had been nicely media-blasted by him.

My PC guy re-blasted them as I had primed them for original paint from Wolfsburg, and he did some minor repair on some blemishes.

Phil -

DO NOT EVER SELL YOUR SWEET 914! I promise that if you do, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. With all the BS&T you've put in it, it's worth 10x what you'd ever get out of it. AND THE CAR IS YOU! No other car will be YOU!

Nothing could match its uniqueness and treasure value. I think its one of the best 914s on the planet (but what do I know?).

Ordering tires soon so I can get them on.

Take care,

GN
