Still have some stuff to clean up but I can get her into the patio. Then I can get the GT4 out.

Well, technically yesterday, but cars and coffee at our "toybarn" community. A rare wet morning in the greater PHX area but still had a good turnout.

A photographer was milling around and took this shot...

(after today's disaster I may have to take down the Packers flag)

No kidding. Ruined my day as well.

Took run to Lake Havasu City to pick up my '71 transaxle after a rebuild at CMS. They did my '73 last summer.
Put back in the original 7/31 R&P and it was a good thing as my 6/29 which had been in there for 40 some years had some significant wear.
They run it on a dyno after the rebuild so they know everything runs and sounds right.Attached ImageAttached Image

Replacing front rotors and pads of the 986 and UPS dropped 2 big boxes.
Thank you so much Craig and good job packaging them.

Immediately unpacked them and try to test fit to the
rear driver side. Used jack stand to push the trailing arm up but won’t go up a little more since the whole car was being lifted from the other jack stand where it was sitted.

VTO 7x15 12ET. Hope 195x60 tires will be perfect.

Bought a trailer for the race car so it doesn't have to live outside. I needed another project. Power, lights, cabinets and floors, gonna have to do something for the ramp tail if the GT4 is going in there.

Attached Image

It's going to take me some time to get all of this straightened out.

@ndfrigi - Love the mini-lites on 914s. That is going to look very good. I could not source a sport/summer 195x60 and went with 195x55 on my car. I would have preferred the 60. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I agree. That transaxle looks brand new. I love that they put it on a dyne and test it before delivery. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Noel, those look great! @Cairo94507 found these recently. They offer a 195/60/15. A little pricey, but.... https://m.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tire...odel=Sprint+%2B

Hi Michael! it is a VTO Classic 8. I believed American Tire Depot have 195x60 with AA A rating but probably not sport/summer.

No extra finish on the transaxle, just cleaned. They use a their billet insert for bearings as the original is usually worn beyond repair. I suppose some concours judge wouldn't like it but do I care???
