Mark, Put me down for both, not just the Taco Plate. Question: do we need gaskets for either ? And can I get them with the order if they are required ? jh Jim, you will just need to use standard gaskets. This is great! Looks like there will be at least 4 of us down in LA/OC area (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) I am thinking I should maybe order a spare set, since it appears we may save a few bucks on combined shipping ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Question to Jonesy: Is the siphon extension 'sealed' once it is installed? Do you mean the pick up extension? this will not need to be 'sealed' as such but does of course seal enough to pick up the oil from the sump extension. Nice machine work. Good on you for making these. For us Americans.... Dollar figures are helpful. I know, we also fail to adopt the metric system. We suck. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Thanks Rand (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) We have not always used the metric system, so theres time yet. I know there must be more people that want to take advantage of this group buy. Is everyone broke after the holidays or too busy going to parties and visiting family and friends?

Do you mean the pick up extension? this will not need to be 'sealed' as such but does of course seal enough to pick up the oil from the sump extension. Yes, does it 'slip on' or does it fit 'tight' onto the oil pick up tube? I agree it does not need a hermetic seal as the viscosity in the splash oil should create enough resistance in that area ..... which will cause most of the oil to flow through the larger orifice. |

I know there must be more people that want to take advantage of this group buy. Is everyone broke after the holidays or too busy going to parties and visiting family and friends? I think there are not more buyers because this GB is not in the Garage section. I know I do not frequent the Classifieds as often and most GBs are in the Garage. I will bump up the Tuna/Taco thread in the garage and link to this GB thread again. I'll do one of each as well please if this is still open. Cool! Should still be open (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)! |

I updated Post 14 Click Here
Do you guys want me to start a combined 'Taco/Tuna Group Buy' thread in the garage for more exposure? It would be easier to edit and show an updated proposed participant list in the first post (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |
