There is no Paperwork pertaining to a Cam, but it feels like they did something

I did get a CoA from Porsche and as usual it's an expensive piece of paper without a lot of information. It had the Color & Engine Number. It did show a couple of Options including a Factory Radio which matches the Unit in dash

I can hardly wait to see her once she is back together. One beautiful car. I really should have kept her, but, nobody ever accused me of being smart. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

This is going to be a truly pretty car when it is finished. Wish I had a huge wad of cash to send TC's way on this one.

TC is 45 mins away from. I'd consider buying it if he'd get up off his duff and finish it already (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Weather is nice, I've been on it all morning! I have to do the Brakes on my Truck now.

Here is how my Guy messaged the Inner Fender (& saved the VIN)

Looks like he made some improvements on the previous damage. Nice work.

Had they just replaced the inner fender, what happens to the vin? Is it cut out from the damaged part and welded on to the new piece? Scenario I hadn't thought of before.

If an Inner Fender is replaced, you'd have to Cut & Weld the VIN plate - I'd think people would bitch about that too - Catch 22!

That is a tough one for sure. I would think so long as you had the before pictures showing the damaged inner fender, then the picture showing the NOS inner fender, then in progress photos documenting the removal and transfer of the VIN to the NOS piece, that would be optimal.

I understand why you had it done the way you did for sure. I think I would have replaced the inner fender though.

Regardless, I still love this car and the color.
