I need to replace a front suspension pan plus part of the front floor and steering tunnel area on one of my cars. I would like to borrow a rotisserie so the gentleman doing the repairs doesn't have to do all the work on his back.
Prefer a local rotisserie that is currently unemployed, hibernating, etc. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I can pick up anywhere in the So Cal or Central Cal area (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

Heck yeah, George - thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
No rush, just let me know when it fits your schedule. I'll pop on down and help you remove your tub too. I'll need to fab some adapter brackets, it's the '67 911 that needs the repairs. If you're not in a big hurry to get it back, I'll replace Dianne's suspension bushing too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Maybe we can kill two birds: grab the wives and go to dinner too? Hey George ... I gots the motor out of the '67, seems like a good time to flip her on her side to fix the floor pans (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
Give me a buzz at your convenience (IMG:style_emoticons/default/call me.gif) |

Depending on the extent of the rust in the front I would be careful about using a rotisserie. The replacement parts are virtually self-aligning .... except if the chassis is supported so far forward. If rotated 90 degrees problems can arise. Good luck, it is a very important and gratifying job. Rory |

Rory Once the tunnel repairs are done, I may hang the front of the car off of the 4-post lift, resting on the front floor pan seams to repair the gas tank pan - I'll have to play it by ear. |
