I still have the sideshift transmission available. FS: I have 2 transmissions, both from non-running cars so I do not know any history on them, consider them cores?. A late 1969 tailshift transmission and a 1973 side shift transmission. They both do include the speedo adapters as well.

Don't toss them yet. I'll be in Indy the last week of this month. Thinking about the tailshifter as a spare. I'll let you know...

Shipping a trans is not bad. I use a plastic box you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot for $12. You need to put a block of wood under the small end of the trans so it does not rest on the shift console. Weights about 90 lbs. Fed Ex shipping cost $50-$90 depending on how far I was shipping from CA.

If you want to work out a payment deal with the seller, I'll pick up the tranny and
figure out how to ship it to you. It may take me a bit of time to get shipping materials together. Maybe Bruce Stone can give me more info on that plastic box idea he uses? Why don't you send me a PM and we can discuss the tranny shipping further. Jon |

I see some listed at Lowe's website but I'm not sure what size would fit a trans or what type of lid would work. Any hints on what you have used to ship a trans? Thx - Jon |
