I followed 914sixers steps, not bad, good enough for daily driver, unless you are a audiophile or something.

I checked out Mark's (914Sixer) thread and I like that his speaker solution fits the stock enclosure entirely. Like others, I am not expecting, nor looking for a $10K sound system in my Six. I just want to be able to turn the radio on when I am sitting somewhere, parked and listen to it once in a while. This will do the trick.

I received a pair of NOS OEM Motorola 914 speakers with a restored Saphire radio I purchased last year. The OEM speakers in my wife's '71 are fine, so I might entertain selling these NOS ones (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Obviously, these would be for that certain individual that absolutely wants the period-correct 'new' ones, and they won't be cheap - probably $100. (shipped CONUS) for the pair.
