A few years ago I was custom machining the emblems like the ones pictured. Then one morning I woke up in the hospital to the news that my house had been cleaned out, my children kidnapped by their mother, and her house keys were on the table.
I took a much needed break from making emblems and I got my life back together. The divorce has been final for a year, I have a nice place to live with a 2 car garage to work put of, and the idea of getting back into making random parts has been on my mind quite a bit recently. All of the parts files that I created were saved, and more designs could easily be created. While making them before, I put in a lot of time and effort into developing my talents and fine tuning the process. It feels wrong to let the energy go to waste that I put into something that I enjoyed doing. I'd be sticking with the $10/digit pricing, and only taking a limited amount of requests at a time. Right now I'm just checking interest, while I am building a few more cnc machines. I have the router table and the small laser cutter, and have the controls for 3 more cnc setups. The biggest thing is that I have the question in my mind of "do I build a machine that is usable for small aluminum parts, and is the emblem adventure worth revisiting?" My vote is yes... Glad to see you back.
If you need some NEMA 23 sized steppers, let me know....no charge.... I might also have a few small servo motors you can have just for the price of shipping. |

Just a thought, due to the issues you had before I'd say it would be best to build stock so that shipping was instant on all but special order items.
I know you had personal and health problems in the past, so that's why it might be best to only take payment when the product is ready to ship. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) you mentioned that before; and based on your (much appreciated) previous input, I included various scenarios along with solutions when writing my plan for moving forward. |

Is A&PGirl okay with you starting back up? She sent me threatening emails just for taking care and helping you with your prepaid orders.

Is A&PGirl okay with you starting back up? She sent me threatening emails just for taking care and helping you with your prepaid orders. Her input is irrelevant at this point. She insisted that we sign a contract... and everything that you helped with didn't go against the contract, nor will me starting back up and making them go against said contract. |
