I just purchased this from the second owner who has owned it since 76-78(he couldn't remember exact year). I am not a 914 guy , I am a PCA member/racer who does appreciate the 914's but I have never owned one. I will not be able to answer a ton of questions nor do I care to. If you are interested in it then I would suggest you come look at it. What I do know: It is a really nice car that has 66k miles and was kept under cover in garage since 76-78. It does appear to be a LE. Orange under black bumpers, gauges, center console, front&rear sways, correct paint code. I have sent off for the coa. Car was repainted about 6 years ago to an off white not the original cream. The miles are correct . Clutch was replaced at the time of paint job. The car is matching numbers. I have original manual with service records up to 15k miles around 76. Second owner was a mechanic and did his own service work. He said car has never needed anything other than fluid changes and a clutch. The fuel injection was replaced with weber's at same time as clutch but I do have the original fuel injection parts. I drove it all week and it runs great.
My name is Billy and my number is 864 420 4906 and I live in Easley Sc. I just joined this forum to relay that I have this car and I am willing to sell it. My asking price is 25k . If this is to much but you are interested in the car then make an offer. If this is to little then some one please tell me so I can raise the price. Attached image(s) |

Billy - Has the hell hole every been repaired or is it original? Nice car. T It has not been repaired it is original. I will try and get as much more info as I can in the next couple weeks. But this is a very nice car. It has been driven but I cant see how it could be nicer without a full restoration. Condition wise. obviously painting it back to orginal and adding the orange back. Interior is a 9 body a 9 Mech 9 |

Interesting. Thanks for the info...those HH can be a real problem. You might want to double check that when you have a chance - just to be sure.

Granted I was driving a junkyard vette but those times should be relished as they don't happen often. |

I'm confused with the Production Data 08/74 ? I thought these LE's were all built in February and March ? Anyone care to chime in

I believe some of the confusion may be the COA says "completion date". The vin plate on the door is stamped 3/74 and all vin's do match.
