I am looking for a good 914 with a subie, 3.0 Porsche or other engine swap. Looking for solid daily driver. I am located in northeast.

What's your budget? When you say "driver" that means a lot of different things to different people. Be a bit more specific with what you need in the car.

What I am looking for specifically is a 914 that I can drive daily with enough power to turn hot laps at the track for PCA drivers education events. I am not looking for a 10 out of 10 cream puff, but w want a mechanically and structurally solid car with no rust problems.
