So I'm at the stage in my restoration where I'm connecting the loom back to everything. Starting with the front of the car.

Armed with the wiring diagrams and many photos of the car I took whilst disassembling it I came across this photo and although everything worked before this surely isn't right.

Grey wire to green/black wire - green/black to grey???

It was the same for the other motor.

Any ideas?

That is incorrect, but if you do it that way on both motors, the headlights work fine.

You can see how they work here.
