They are nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) I loved my Weber's.
I know the new Weber's are made in Spain and not in Italy as was the time honored tradition but alas, they are still Weber's. I agree that Italian Weber's should command a premium but either the market has spoken or you haven't found the right die hard Italian guy yet. Honestly, I'd be tempted but I'm sitting on a set of Dell's. |

Thanks Superhawk996....I really appreciate the feedback!
And the Dells...lets not get that conversation started (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ....almost like the one on "Which Oil To Use" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Really both brands are good carbs...it just boils down to how good of shape they are in before you start using or rebuilding.... You're right that the going market price is a key and what someone is willing to pay for "vintage" stuff....and also many like using programmable FI systems now instead of carbs. Thanks...John |

Always open to reasonable offers...
If you need a comparison of prices and condition... do a search for Weber 40 IDF under the classified section on the SAMBA https://www.thesamba.com/ I think you will find these are well priced and in excellent condition. |

Great price! If I hadn't already restored a pair, I would have jumped on these at $650. GLWS.

These would work fine in a 2.0 even with the FI cam. You would spend more sourcing good cores, having the work subbed out and what ever shipping expenses you incur. Fair deal.
