This will also need a modified LED bulb.

One of the lights has a couple of cracks. Time for the plastic welding liquid.

Then I dug out the bag with the parking brake, and fetched the switch.

And installed.

All part of my plan to test the electric system before putting the interior together.

I then got out the cylinder heads. I knew I had some issues with exhaust studs but did not expect big problems. I should have known better.

One head is missing a stud, with an oversized hole that looks like 9 mm. The threads also look a bit rough.

The other head also has a missing stud, but the original hole and threads cleaned up with my 8mm tap.

However, it also has another odd stud. It seemed loose, so I removed it--and watched it wobble on the way out. You might be able to see the bend.

I screwed a bolt into the hole. The bolt (background) has a very different angle compared to the stud (foreground).

Looks like the hole with the bad angle has an insert. Whoever did the repair did not get the angle correct.

Sigh.

Are you going to have it welded and re-drilled and tapped?
