All ratchet type jack stands are not safe. If the lever is kicked they come down. A member had that happen and got his face smashed.

Use pin type only and use backups

Bought some Esco pin out jack stands, they're fantastic. Got rid of all my old ratcheting stands.
Buy them like your life depends on them...

I like your placement under the quickjack. cool idea. I usually just put the backup stands under the engine bar, but this gives more space!

BillC, I checked your list and discovered my 4 jackstands are on the recall! Took them to Harbor Freight today and got a refund. Thanks to you and 914 World community for keeping us Safe!
