Sounds fun. Put me down as tentative. I need to get the 914 out of the mechanical purgatory to make this drive.

Our base of operations in Santa Fe will be the iconic El Rey Court.
1862 Cerrillos Rd., Santa Fe, NM 87505 (505) 982-1931
This renovated travelers oasis was built in 1936 on old Route 66.

When you call and make your reservation, say you are with the 'Porsche 914 Group'.
Our block of rooms is being held until April 23rd. After that, you are on your own.
Pets are welcome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dog.gif) Breakfast only on the weekends. Didn't ask about trailer parking.

We will have the picnic area for our Friday Night Pizza Party. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Might try and make the Saturday portion driving up from Scottsdale. Might not be a 914, but it will be a Porsche and mid-engined...

I’ll try my best to make this, at least for Wednesday-Thursday. Should be done with the 5-lug swap and new tires by then. I’ll persuade my brother to tag along with his 69 911.

Reservations are made. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif) I guess I better get the oil leaks fixed ASAP.

My son Nathan and I will be joining you. He's old enough to do the driving this time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
I might even let him do some of it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

The last time I saw De Chelly and Bandelier was almost 40 years ago.
Back then I thought backpacking in for a couple of days was the thing to do.
This time I probably won't even leave the parking lot. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)
