My final advise to the 914-Girls.

Don't do it...

Tom,

I understand where you're coming from. I appreciate your caution and I respect your opinion. I wish there were more like you aware of the potential problem in our society. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

In fact, it's sort of humorous that you posted that because if you knew me personally, you'd know that I'm the LAST female in the world that would tolerate that sort of "females as objects" cr@p!!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)

Taking that picture was a new experience for me and we had a lot of fun doing it! I would HIGHLY recommend trying it to anybody else who feels even the slightest inclination to!!!

If we ever get a chance to meet in person, I'd like to buy you a beer (if you'll let me (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) ) and take the opportunity to sit and talk. I think then you might see that it is entirely possible for at least THIS girl to be a "respectable woman", drape herself over a car, diagnose a problem and wrench on a car, and drive the heck out of a car... all in one multi-faceted package! Jenny,

I can really empathize with the loss of the cameras AND especially the photos! You're right, thieves SUCK!!!

Oh, and thanks for the compliment.... the "headlights" joke honestly didn't even occur to me while we were taking the picture. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Funny thing.... after seeing the picture up on the computer monitor... my first thought was that the seal around the base of the side-marker light looks like it may be broken and that we need to get a new one! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Thanks Betty, That was a great compliment.

I like strong women who know who they are and in control of their decisions. I live with a house full and you understand what I mean.

I will now purchase a calendar.

Tom,

Thank you for your mature response. I respect that a lot. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Thank you Betty for your very eloquent response to all of this.
I also appreciate a woman who's strong in her own convictions/spirit. I'm sure Clay appreciates you. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

I will not advocate any person to do anything they don't want to do. Just don't do it. Please.

On the same note.....

Pics are starting to slowly flow in. The deadline will be when enough pics are gathered. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) as I am going to be the person who will create and assemble them I can start on any month I want. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Also thank you 914club members for putting up with one of my hair-brained ideas. I'm sure it was already someone elses idea but, oh well. Seems to be working out nicely this time. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif)

Cheers!

if you get more than you need: how about making a one page collage for the next 12 months, so you can include all of the submissions. (just to be fair to all participants' efforts) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)

How can we have a friendly beer after you post your picture. We are guys and we can't help ourselves once you stray from our 914 friendship.

I'll buy a calendar if there are professional models only.

Hey Tom photos have been posted (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap.gif) As for the pros only (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif) there are a LOT of amatures that I think are better looking that the pros. If you lose respect and cant have a beer with some one who has a photo of thenselves in print that may have got a rise in your levis I feel sad for you. I would be glad to drink with any of them any time. One last thing then Ill go..... The bad connector on the coil positive lead was something that I normally would not expect.

How long did it take the guy at the shop to find it????

HA! I figured I would get you to post with that one! Oddly enough, they had seen the exact same problem about 6 months ago. It took them forever to find that one!

Well, I finally made it to this thread...

Great picture, Betty...that's cool... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Sorry about your camera, Jenny, that sucks!!!

I'll be going to Jenny's this weekend and I'll have my camera if she wants to take one with mine...but I won't be in my car. It's crappy weather time here, so I'm Chevy Tahoe bound. Plus, I have "school" butt (formerly known as secretary's butt) right now and am not proud of it. I won't be showing any of that... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

I would like to get one in with me with my car, but unfortunately I don't know anyone close to me other than Andy that could take the picture for me...if we were to have another one of those ever decreasing gatherings, I could get someone to take one, but again, it would be PG.
