The BBQ was really good. Lots of friendly peeps to talk to, lots of good food to woof down. The weather cleared up from a rainy morning and it was a nice SoCal afternoon. Joe's street became 914 Blvd because so many teeners showed up. It was such a nice day, the kind that makes you want to own a 914,, that my buddy Ted talked himself into buying one! Another green teener changed hands today!

Yep that's original paint, and it's a pretty darn rust free solid car. All of it's electrical works, and it came with 5 gas burners. My buddy scored!!

I didn't mean to derail this thread,, so suffice it to say Joe's BBQ and the great weather/atmosphere really put the 914 spirit in my buddy Ted!
THANKS FOR HOSTING JOE (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

Joe, as always, a hoot. You and Linda (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif)

The AZ contingent is NUTZ! Mutt and Jeff (Waide and Mike) worked the room pretty well. A lot of 'Hold my beer and watch this' (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

I'm sure others will post the pix of all the really beautiful cars (yawn) but here's a 6 we're gonna cut up next weekend..

ebay ad, still going...

The car is sold.
The guy that was selling the car does not know too much about ebay,, the seller hired a 3rd party to list his car. I don't know when the seller will notify the 3rd party to remove the add. FYI
