sixth...fifth...fourth, ah yes! It was fourth grade the last time I heard that comeback. It was about as effective then, which is to say not very.

Guys, it's been fun, but obviously you are all too smart for me. I will retire and permit you the parting shots. Enjoy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fighting19.gif)

Well, I'm very curious how you plan to widen the track on your "next level / radical" 914 project and address all these "shortcomings" of the antiquated (sp?) stock suspension

I know of a car that had the front suspension seriously modded and I also know how much trouble (read time and money) it was...

Even more, I'm really curious how much all the improvements would mean in the real world... so keep us posted

cheers,

Jeroen

Now, it's just a pissing match with people who have poor reading comprehension and a shaky understanding of the dynamics involved. Lucky me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I've been following your thoughts since your first post. You have been very condescending( yes, I know what that word means). This board is made up of people who love, and are dedicated to the the preservation of the 914 species. We will do what ever necessary to achieve our goal. We pride ourselves in the honesty and integrity of our club. Our main purpose here is the exchange of 914 knowledge. If you have first hand knowledge in that subject, speak out! If not, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/finger.gif)

This guy knows shit about 914s but tells us how ingorant we are... what a fucking joke (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

He claims he'll build the "next level / radical" 914 (hey, now that's a new concept!) and has been doing nothing but boasting from post #1
"You guys get all exited about 115bhp, well, I can get over 600bhp from a Mazda rotary with just some minor tweeks. I will put that in a 914 and mount some 285width tires"

Oooohhhh.... Aaaaahhhh.... yep, now we are impressed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

So far, all I've seen is a very ugly drawing of a purple 914...
Call me a sceptic if you like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

cheers,

Jeroen

just like he said, less is more (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

start with driving a 115hp 914 with 195 tires and learn how to drive first before you go 600hp and 285 (hey, wouldn't that widen the track!?!).

but who am i talking to? he is the expert, after all, he WRITES about race cars ...
