Does anyone in the Bay Area have a spare of those silly little stepped bolts for the rear trunk hinge? I replaced my pivot this past weekend and the damn PO had used a bigger bolt and drilled out the old pivot. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I don't want to pay shipping for something that should cost 10 cents.

Buy a new one. HPH is 10 miles north of you.

I'll be there all day tomorrow working on a V8 conversion car (I'll get there around 10am)

I have been wanting to check out HPH for some time. I will try really hard to swing by unless work gets too crazy.
I hope he has the bolt I need. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

He is larger than AA. He stocks the pivot pieces and the pivot bolts.

Nope. Nada. He is not real computer savy. Been here for 25+ years racing/building 914's.

If a online catalog happens.. it will happen because of me.

Since my failure in closing the SSI deal I have contemplated working out a deal with HPH to buy the business. The problem is: it would take 2 years to clean the place up. He has parted out over 450 914's over the years and hundreds of 944's/911's/924's.

HPH = High Performance House
It is (I believe) Rich Bontempi's place. It is in Redwood City, CA. Doubt they have a website, but a phone number they do have: (650)364-6234

Stopped by HPH today, didn't see you Brad. But I did get the pivot bolt that I needed. There are lots of interesting things lying around that shop.
