Jake,
Just for shits and grins..... What was Chico's excuse for not running up against you? It's gotta be an interesting story. NEXT: Are you gunna use Art's carbs on your car??? I was just thinking of the beautiful irony of that possibility. Beat the guy that built your carbs kinda thing....... NEXT: Do you need a chute for that car to run at the proposed track? NEXT: Can you get somebody to video log the thrashing at your shop for posterity? That would be a bitchin show in itself. Like an hour long show on the speed channel or the history channel. PLEASE get as much video as possible of what you guys are doing. Regards and the best of vibes possible to you and the crew. Cause you don't need good luck... You have that already..... In SPADES...!!!! Clayton |

Art prepped the 52's for me last year... But I won't be using them against him, we need more control of the engine...
I needed a tad more air flow, those venturis get in the way of things :-) Yeah, we know what keeps an engine alive. |

Here is the early conceptual design for the T shirts... This is just one side of the shirt, the front is even better but is still being worked out!
The car will be finished by weeks end.. Engine will be off the dyno tomorrow afternoon as long as nothing scatters! |

Yeah.. The big rig is certainly gonna be a handful to drive, but at the track all the conveniences of the shop/tools and etc will be nice! The only bad part is that it's watercooled!
"Mr. Nevermind" is probably one of those guys that wonders why anyone would spend thousands of hours of labor and multi- thousands of dollars to build a car to purposely go blow up.... We don't think alike. |

Yeah, the designer is an out of control individual that I have known for a number of years... :-)
When I decided to blow the car up EVEN IF WE WIN the competition, Rich Christensen was totally blown away. :-) Just imagine if it takes us twice as long to scatter as the TI..... What if it takes a 200 shot of NOS to even hurt the engine... But we might die on the first pass, who knows- it's ALL luck! This post has been edited by Jake Raby: Apr 17 2007, 10:25 PM |

Well. Actually, I'm one of those guys who decided to take a second thought about what he was going to ask and whether or not he actually cares. And I can't figure out how to delete my frigging posts.
I *was* going to ask about whether or not you plan on running a toneau cover on the car. And the *Other* nevermind was about *ado. And I likewise thought twice about possibly giving away a secret if it had to do with anything. I'm afraid that we may think more similarly than you want to believe. I've been working on a project for the last year called "Engine Number Nine." A lot of expiremental tech packed into a 3.2l 6, as a back up engine in case we're already going to lose a long race. It'll almost surely blow up, and we take home a loss+ a lot more data from it. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) I can't find meds effective enough, they are all lame. The pics of the hauler were over on my forums, but here are a couple.. I won't be lettering the rig/trailer as we like to roll in stealth mode.... |

Instead of stealth mode, why don't you roll in decoy mode? You could letter the trailer with false livery to throw the spies off track. Maybe red & yellow, so it's really obvious, like Der Winerschnitzel logos or something.

No stages... It's just two cars, when one dies the other wins....
Yeah, I HATE the fact that I had to buy something with a Radiator, it's the second watercooled vehicle I have ever owned. BUT I don't have the time to build an aircooled engine that will pull all that weight and size- we have SCCA events to win! |
