Well now I gone an broke the law today with a quick drive down the block! aside from the tears all be it joy , surprise or the fact that there is no windshield....the world may never know! I'll say this once it gets on cam...... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) Now I have a few MORE issues....

seems to run pretty good although my fuel pressure is wacky after relocating the pump, so it may be a bad regulator or gauge??

also there seems a bit more popping through the carbs than I would like.....

also the first second reverse gears are way STIFF.....I had to make the rod so I think I may have screwed it up a bit as the bushings are all good...?

BUT on the flip side there are very minor weeps in the way of oil and no PUDDLES!!!!!

YOU TOO CAN REBUILD A 9elben engine.....

well the new toy came in today!! Hard as hell to get that thing off a trailer and set up weighing in at a measly 800lbs!! THIS is the $949 39"lift from Harbor freight.....I am ALL for american made but this thing works VERY well and is 1/3d the price....for a bunch of heavy steel. So being the CSOB that I am I went this route! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Its all good Herb, they forklifted it onto the car hauler trailer and I had em set it on the 4 1000lb ($9.99 each) mini dollies (which I will use for my alignments) and I basicly rolled it off the trailer and onto a jack and off a jack and on a jack until it was far enough off the trailer to use the built in doohickiemagigy(on the pump) for moving it around the floor (its semi portable that way)

ahhhh yup!. Took it for a lil spin again today, after I buffed out the clear...not perfect but close enough for a garage job and racer....I can smell the end. All electrical gremlins addressed and all lights/wipers/etc etc is in good order so all thats left is the bolt on bits and install glass and GO BABY! Pulls like a beast as I hit 65 into 3d on a very short stretch of road! So far the cam seems to come on @ 2500 or so?
