Joe, I barely saw you at the show at all. How long did you guys stay? Zach We had a lot of fun, met a lot of people. The best part was the drive in, that was awesome. So we all got there 9ish and i left a little after 12:00. I didnt sit at all, just kept walking. The wife was tired, lack of sleep from the 2 nights prior. So we left. Next year i will stay longer. Great time nice to meet everyone joseph p.s. the good looking woman in my photos is my wife for those of you who did not meet us. |

I had the time of my life,I saw more 914's than any other event that I have been too. The irony is that there were more in the parking lot than we had. If those 914's were with us it would been a 100 or more. If are reading this and weren't there this yr. , please be there next yr. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) Kudo's to the event planners , Thank You ! Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) |

Finally got back home.
What a great time. We will do this next year. Loved meeting everyone, and sorry I did not get to meet all the people. We did the AutoX today...that was alot of fun. Small group of diehards stuck it out. Rich |

Okay, I finally got the rest of my pictures downloaded and uploaded. Here are the worthwhile shots from the dinner at the Sinkhole.
The room starts to fill... (IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3608/3478683234_4c51640b27.jpg) (IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3651/3477877671_06949fa316.jpg) We had 42 people pre-register, 45 settings were placed, and there were no empty chairs. At some points, it was standing room only. (IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3611/3478688456_5a850e2a31.jpg) Lots of black and tans... (IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3341/3477883189_0ab5e43cfa.jpg) My hair is way crazy... (IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3349/3478693640_c83f4f1904.jpg) Mike, Rich and Ray start handing out the awards (IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3309/3478696098_76bb9c8772.jpg) I got a tractor (IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3407/3478698476_8dec8e90d4.jpg) Ed gets a 914 clock! (IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3571/3478700916_0dc6f4802d.jpg) And thats all I got. Now, to get my car re-dismanteled, fix the unfixed, and get it driveable by September.... But, it made it to the Mid Engine Invasion! Zach |

Rick it was a great pleasure to finally meet you and Sandy. Thank you for making the time to drive all the way out for the event. I am very glad you made it home..that must have been a very long day. Seems you left at O Dark thirty. Now, start thinking of a good reason to drag my sorry ass out there for an event in the middle...have a middle midengine invasion... I will be the cheerleader on the team. Rich |

Black and tans were 5.50 each while a 0.5 litre Franziskaner (German, so you know it's good) was only 3.75. It's a wheat beer, a good summer beer for summery weather (90+ degrees). |

GREAT TIME! thanks to Rich, Mike, and Zach for setting it up! Funny thing happened on the way home from the .... my car pee'd on me! At one point on trip home, i knocked my coffee cup complete upside down - coffee gurgled into the tunnel near the defroster handle. I got it turned right side up but too late for a good spill. I drove straight to my kids baseball game and parked in full sun with the top off. An hour later when I started the car up - a water like liquid dripped onto my shins from beneath the dash. My guess is the coffee soaked into the spedometer cable and heat and sunlight forced it up via capilary action (?) into the dash and it spilled out later. .. perhaps I shouldn't have admitted this story (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I bet it was your windshield washer switch. One of the hoses going to it is probably cracked.

Excellent people it was great meeting everyone the weather was great the amount of 914 cars at the show was awesome maybe next year we can have some people at the entrance directing 914 to park together would be really cool..! An Zack, Mike an everyone who help set this thing up Excellect job i can't wait till next year and i will have my car there to. I stop buy the autox in the morning but i didn't stay to long had to get going next year i will plan on hanging out for that look like some fun stuff.
