I know this is a long shot, and these headlights have been discontinued for years, but I missed out on a set of NIB ones last night on eBay and decided to post up a WTB ad on a few different of my automotive forums to see if I may by chance get a bite.

If anyone has a set they are willing to part with (and they are in good shape), please contact me (PM or email work best....I get email alerts from them).

Or if you know someone that has a set they aren't using, feel free to pass along contact information. I know I can buy new Hella, Bosch and Cibie E codes, but trying to find a set of old school Z-Beams for my project.

Thanks all!

And how do you tell if they are Z beams?

I have a pair of Cibie lights but do not know exactly what they are.

Hey guys. Here is a picture of a Cibie Z-Beam from a buddy of mine who found a set new in the box earlier this year. They are currently on his car and sadly not for sale.

Mr914 has a pair of these. You would need to check to see if be is willing to sell them

Does anybody have experience with these?

Seems like they may be a cheaper alternative confused24.gif

Those are a knock off made my some company in India and even though they claim to be the same sign, the light pattern is nowhere close. Read some reviews on guys that ran them in their jeeps. Said they were terrible....

Just wanted to bump this ad once more. I found one set for one of my vehicles and LOVE them. Looking to find a second pair to put in my second car.

Anyone out there have a set on their hands?

This is probably not what you are looking for but I though I would post these confused24.gif

Anyhow, if this is of interest, let me know. driving.gif

They are equipped with H4 standard bulbs.

Not quite the ones I am looking for, but I do appreciate you popping in and at least inquiring about the ones that you had. Never hurts to ask. smile.gif

this is not a Z beam but looks like a good deal…

Here is a Hella E-code conversion kit
http://www.busdepot.com/0301600118

and

Cibie e- code on amazon

http://www.amazon.com/Cibie-082440-Light-U...2440+Light+Unit

I just placed the order for 2 e-code Cibie and some 100/80 bulbs. I am doing the relay conversion while I wait for the other parts

Wonder if this is something you want. Hawk had them on my table at our recent PCA swap meet. In the area of $400--$500 ++-- The real deal stuff. w00t.gif

I think those are Cibie Oscars (basically HUGE driving lights).

I picked up a NOS set of Z-beams YEARS ago on one of the Ferrari boards. A member had a spare set and had sold his car

I am still on the lookout for a second pair of these. Just wanted to give this thread another bump.

So do you have an opinion on these, do you like them? Are they a worthwhile, cost effective alternative?

QUOTE(rfinegan @ May 6 2014, 02:29 AM) *

Thanks for that link. These headlights are getting expensive.

To think I got a set that is next to NOS for $50 (came in the original boxes, but had been on a car back in the 70's) makes me feel like a pretty lucky guy.
mrblyoung
Another bump. Still searching for a set.
