It needs more cowbell.

I saw that too. Might be my ideal 914. The quality looks awesome and I can just imagine what that baby feels like to run through the gears. But like comments on the other thread, the seats are just to much for me. Something a little more subtle would be better.

I'm on a 914 FB group, when the eBay 916 ad was posted to the group, a guy named Leonardo Garcia posted about what Patrick Motorsports had done with his car, about a million posts. He sure didn't paint a pretty picture.

Mr. Garcia has been kicked off just about every 914 thread for spewing his B/S reguarding PMS. Let's just be polite and call it Fake News.

He actually called me today and threatened me because i told him to quit posting about it on facebook.

Hardly a clone with 17'' wheels ,911 dash and those seats, really to me its the builds done on here that impress me more than going to PMS and swiping a credit card when the car is done.

Thanks, I didn't know the history.

And they used one of them crappy repro front bumpers with the "dimple".

The real 916 front bumpers look soooooo much better ...

I admire the cars Patrick Motorsports builds and the special parts, especially for the 914 market that they manufacture. That said, I hate the bumpers, seats, and weird looking big wheels on this build. It just looks out of scale. They do great work, but I wonder who did the specs on this car. Awesome car, just not my tastes.

I agree. I would replace the rims, seats and put chrome bumpers on it. Easy fix!!
Of course if you install chrome bumpers, it will no longer be a 916 tribute.

IF I could afford to have PM build me a car - I would. I have mad-respect for what they can do, how they do it and the attention to detail their builds clearly displays. There are always bad-apples falling off the trees - always.

interesting paint subtleties on the rockers and body. agree.gif PMS does awesome work / I hear they require an unlimited budget. Then they exceed it....

Quality work requires quantity dollars.

If I had the money I would be taking it home today . I love the build and every thing about it . If it was a Singer 911 it would be 600,000 . To think that you would have 914 that could take on a singer for a faction of the cost . driving.gif
