You have it oriented correctly there but I can't say off the top of my head that you have the curled edge positioning correctly to the outside, now that I think about it.

That is where I am - I can't remember either and the chrome seems to fit 'ok" either way.

I don't know either but I hope 914rubber makes some new ones. Mine are all rusty.

I think it's 180' out. Tall side toward inside.

I think I like it turned 180 - tall side to inside. The chrome piece seems to slide on and align better.

Thank you for the link. I'd still rather buy a couple sets from Mark and there's always a bunch of other stuff to add into the order.

I agree and have 6 items in my 914Rubber.com basket as we speak.
I'm not sure he would make these if someone else already has?

You are probably right!
Having just installed mine I would like to see slightly longer threads on the new improved model so it could be started with a 8mm socket without the nut falling into the socket to the point it doesn't grab. I did get them started with my fingers (skinny fingers).

^^^ Just put an extra nut or 2 in the socket and it will space it up to catch threads .

Remove the holder from the body and slide it into the sail trim.... as I recall that will be a big clue. And don't forget the black plastic spacer (its a countersunk cylindrical item) that goes between the sail trim and body at the top screw.
