Picked up a pair of these part number 930 105 116 OR one is machined down which to me looks to be down around 5.5mm .
Looks like its the RH side cover with machining @ the rear.

This could be simple but have a mental blank on this @ the moment.
Seller told me they were of a latter motor and casting dates prove that but why was this cover milled down or is that earlier 911 fitment?,help please TIA.

If the 930's are used on a 914/6, they need to be milled to remove them while in the car. Can't remember which side needs to be milled. I think drivers side rear, but not positive, and not near my car to check.

Turbo lower valve covers and the driver's side is one milled when used on a 6 in a 914 chassis to be able to get it on/off with motor in the car.

Think mine might be ass about face due to early 911 fitment just don't know???.
On a 914/6 the cylinder max offset is towards the rear on the RH side (cylinders 4+5 ) so maybe they are ok.
If the part numbers are @ the top that should be the correct fitment....seems that way confused24.gif .

I milled all of my fins down to the top of the fastener bosses, turbo covers are overkill.

They probably are overkill, but they look bad a$$, and seal even better. It looks like someone did the milling for your 6 application for you.
