Does anyone know where to buy this hose in bulk for a 914-6 conversion?? Anyone Want to go in on a length?

Are you attaching it to the port at the top of the case? I have always wondered why it appears to be set up for a bayonet fitting. In the end I drilled and tapped it for a barbed fitting. I am using braided hose now (the horror) after my attempt at ss braided hose with an an fitting didn’t work out.
What tubing are you considering?

P.s. I have an oil trap plumbed into this line and it seems to work pretty well.

We get it from SSF. I have some hanging up in my garage if you need a piece.

I know someone knows what it is bulk.. Was it green stripe something?

@worn it was always just clamped on with a worm gear clamp..

I can call the shop on monday and get the info. I know the last time I ordered it, it was a 10-12 foot length +/-. I don't remember the price.

I've seen some cloth braid hose at my NAPA that looks very close. I can check size and post

I got mine from a hose and fitting supplier locally. It doesn’t look OEM as it’s a smooth grey surface but it doesn’t break down with the hot oil.

The problem is it needs to be longer for a 914-6..

Got it. I cut it off a large loop of tubing so I didn't realize the 911 size wasn't long enough. I'll check our supplier on Monday.

I think Aircraft Spruce carries the breather hose (with the braided covering) by the foot if you can’t find a bulk source.

If you don't need to stay stock, this green hose was cheap. I cut it to length and used it for both the crankcase breather and puke bottle.

Bought the Pelican one and only a short time later it leaked where it go's on the breather on the engine,was chasing leaks in other area's till I found it was the hose,cut it back and it seems ok...time will tell.
Yep the 911 one is too short ask me how I know .
