After weeks of frustrating dealings with sellers, I jumped on the "singed" 914 on 914Word FB page that popped up today.

'74 2.3L. Needs some buffing out! Gotta get it shipped from San Diego to Chicago.

It'll need a door and a quarter panel. With that much heat that metal is damn near hardened

Car arrived tonight, during our first snowstorm. Didn't get to drive it, but it runs well. Overall, it needs a good cleaning, but the bones are good! Gonna make a great driver!

First drive today! Is it ok to drive it in snow with the top off?! Paint that wasn't melted cleans up nice. Trunk looked like the fender . . .
