Get yourself an ATV jack from Harbor Freight, works well for both -6 and -4 engines.

Get yourself an ATV jack from Harbor Freight, works well for both -6 and -4 engines.

i'm getting closer to drivetrain install and lacking confidence in the home made wooden bracket i used for removal with a rolling floor jack...

i'm guessing you put the lift in with the pedals toward the front of the car? where do you position the engine / trans unit for optimal balance with a 4?

This is the one I use, but usually have a floor jack under the trans for the 914.
