S calipers require 3.5 inch bolt spacing
Robarabian
Seller: Ok, so now I'm confused. Do these bolt to a regular 911 strut, with 3 inch spacing, or are they S calipers that require the 3.5 inch spacing.

maybe a measurement photo showing the bolt spacing?
Superhawk996
Those Brembo calipers are not the Porsche S calipers. They should be 3" spacing to work with early 3" 911 struts.

Agree that a photo of strut ear spacing won't hurt and would be a benefit to potential buyers having once upon a time ended up with 3.5" struts that were advertised as 3".
Literati914
Those are most likely Brembo's off an Alfa Romeo (and are the lightest weight choice of calipers) and DO HAVE 3" mounts, and will therefore work with the 3" 911 Boge struts that are pictured. Like the 'S' calipers they would have 48mm pistons (compared to 33mm of stock 914 btw). This is a great set up, GLWS.

Edit: I see seller has corrected the description.
Robarabian
PM sent ref the calipers.

Here are the pictures with measurements, proving, that they are both 3 inches.

If you replace the word "Brembo" with "BMW" and those calipers look identical to BMW 320i calipers (which have 3 inch spacing).
CG-914
Those are not the same thing @AZBanks

First ATE 320i Calpers are steel and not Aluminium.

Second, the Brembo can be run on 911 struts with Vented Rotors and on non vented rotors when you remove the spacers. The ATE 320i Calipers can only be run with non vented rotors.

I don't understand why all this confusion. confused24.gif

These are the Alfa Brembos that are sought after for all the reasons exposed by the seller and the struts have their part number clearly shown. This setup is explained in the 5lug conversion thread by Eric Shea in the Classic section.

I have the same setup and looking forward installing it when I convert my car to 5 lugs.

Also note these work with 911 M-caliper rebuild kits. Except for being made of aluminum and saying brembo dimensionally they're the same as the Porsche M-caliper.

It's what I have on my /6.
