It has come a time for me to evaluate and grow the business. I have decided to close out my quiet technology mufflers. They are fantastic mufflers but very expensive to sit on parts/components in preparation to sell a completed muffler based off of my build to order business model. I am going to make a run of them based off of sales over the next 2 weeks and then they will become NLA. Please note I will still have plenty of options as I have new 914-6 heat exchangers,1.7 ,2.0 914-6 mufflers all available along with all my other products.. So here is how this will shake out

914-6 quiet muffler $550 (stock tail pipe)
914 2.0 quiet muffler $600(stock tail pipe)

Payment can be made by check or paypal with you paying fees.

Shipping is typically $40-$45
GT style bracket, hardware, and gaskets will be $60 with purchase of mufflers. Please note that the picture is for showing some of my products. This offer is for stock outlet only

I know there are many options for mufflers out there but once you see Ben's work you will stop looking at anything else. I have his complete exhaust system on my car and every time I am under my car I just stare at it. Everyone who looks under my car can't get over the exhaust system and the absolutely beautiful welds. Without people like Ben supporting our cars they would not be as nice or as steetable.

I agree. No other muffler or exhaust system comes close at any price.

I don't need a muffler at the moment but am very tempted to order one of these.

I have a stock 74 2.0.

What is the sound like on these versus stock. Louder, quieter, deeper, other?

Do they work with the original style heat exchangers?

This is tempting. I have one of Chris Foley's EVO II silencers, and I like it a lot. But quiet is starting to sound better and better....

A little deeper then stock but not very loud. Yes they work with stock heat exchangers

I love Ben's 914-6 heat exchangers and quiet muffler. I would recommend picking up a quiet muffler if you don't have one already. It's easy to swap out and replace your existing obnoxious muffler with built in drone and the required ear plugs. After installing the quiet muffler, I will never go back to a dual exhaust or glass pack. The sound is amazing, but no drone and you can have conversations with people in the car. I can also now hear the stereo and don't need ear plugs.

I currently have 1.7 HE, so that wouldn't work with your 2.0 quiet muffler unless I switch my HE to 2.0 correct?

Ben, I would like one for a 4 cyl 2.0. Is there any way you can add a bung for an O2 sensor in the muffler body?

Wow! Hell of a deal folks.

I have one of quiet mufflers on my car and its been night and day over my Triad for longer trips.

And I paid a HELL of a lot more then $600 for it. I'd jump on this with both feet. Killer deal and you will regret missing out on it.

Just wanted to update everyone.. There has been an overwhelming interest in these mufflers and because of that I am trying to do the assembly line type of construction. It is likely all of them will ship around the same time which does drag it out a bit for all of you but makes it easier to make for me.. If anyone for any reason wants to back out because of the delay let me know.. Anyone whom sent a check I won't deposit until next week.

Update.. All 914-6 mufflers are shipping 1st and over the next few days.. I had $8,000 worth of inlets made for the type 4 guys and they should be done Monday or Tuesday.. Then onto type 4 stuff. Thanks for your patience and support

I'm holding a 2.0L type 4 muffler (1st one built!), a 914/6 quiet muffler, and have ordered a set of Ben's 914/6 headers for next year.

You won't find nicer parts!

The fit was perfect and polished up nicely. I finally completed install yesterday and couldn’t wait to listen to the tone. The tone is spot on with a nice growl and not at all obnoxious. Thanks Ben!

wow beautiful sound! the neighbor in that video seems not being bothered with the sound.

Just a couple of updates. All 914-6 mufflers have shipped. 2.0 mufflers will start shipping this week. One note. This video though very nice is not of a quiet muffler. DucRS ordered a louder version. It sounds great no doubt but a few pm'd me with questions regarding sound levels.. The video represents a louder version..

Update 90% of these mufflers have shipped those that provided email addresses should have received ups tracking numbers. Those that didn't will not.

From a loudness perspective, how would you compare it to your original muffler? Louder, quieter, about the same?
