Water pumper - yeah lots of work to put in a 914
Cheap enough but has a reason as it has issues,@ that price you could part it out but still not get money back,folks are well educated on the issues however the 3.6 is less prone to RMS bearing issues and cylinder/piston problem,could well be just a hyd lifter ,you would never know
