Hey all,
Heres the scoop I have a friend with a 97 2.5 boxster 6 cyl motor with ECU and 5 speed tranny "the car had around 60K on it when pulled" for sale. All components are separated and for sale separate but the list is as follows: Engine-$1100 bucks all is complete minus what it took for him to do the 3.6 conversion such as coolant fitting.... ECU-$200 Trans- needs a new diff but still works fine-$250. If you figure around 2,000 for 200 hp at the pavement is a good deal not to mention the cheaper aftermarket for this engine. If anyone is in favor of doing a watercooled conversion this is a great buy!!! I am not a huge fan of Watercooled conversions myself but I am neutral about the Idea so please no Watercooled conv. hate mail! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Thanks, Thomas |
