Unfortunately, the Patrick Motorsport oil tank I purchased for my six-conversion does not fit well with a rear stiffen kit that has been installed. I ended up purchasing a different manufacture tank that fits with less issues.
The Patrick Motorsports oil tank has never been used, but test fitted several times with some seam welds smoothed down as shown in the photos below, and the filler neck tube and breather tube sanded down to achieve additional clearance. The Patrick Motorsports oil tank (less the mounting hardware and OEM plastic bushings 901-107-692-00 and 901-107-693-01), filler neck, filter console, and oil filter must go. $1,210 new and yours for $800 plus shipping. Local delivery is available within a one-hour drive from the I-280/Highway 85 interchange in Silicon Valley, California. 914-6 Oil Tank - Reproduction Dry Sump Conversion (OIL 901 107 005 40 PMS) $820 New 914/6 Oil Tank Filler Neck Kit (OIL 901 107 640 40 PMS) $235 New Engine Oil Tank Filter Console Bracket Porsche 911 914 (OIL 901 107 054 PMS) $155 New |
