My 1970 914-6 is now completely stripped and only the tub remains. I need to have the entire car, blasted, all rust repaired (I have all new panels) and of course painted. Color is Irish Green. Any suggestions on who to use and what the cost could be? I have many body shops up my way, however, they prefer to do straight collision work. They don't want to jam their shops with resto work.

Straight collision repair is easy. Rust repair is not.

~7.5 hours of drive time to get to Scott's from your location. Scott has the trifecta of 914 restoration - rust repair, paint and reasonable prices.

I found a soda blast company in Delaware. You could pull in from 95 on your way down to Scott's and have it done. They gave me estimate of $1,000-1,500 depending on layers of paint, undercoating, ect.
