O.K. Let's face it when it's wet and rainy who wants to replace seals, vinyl, carpet, rear window mount tape w/seal and misc trims?

Summer is here's...It's time TO GET LARGE! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rocking nana.gif)

Today I removed all the roll bar trims in and out.
All interior window and top rubber, ext rear window seal and roll bar vinyl.

I have some replacement items on hand, others are *in the mail*.

Thanks to Morphenspectra and HPH for the goods! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

BTW all the interior is out of the car and the chassis stiff kit is welded in and primered.

I'm just about ready to completly restore the look of this decent tub.

Follow me and do yours too. Feel free to post all your pics with mine as you GET IT DONE!!!.

You don't start something like that during AX season. Summer is for driving. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/MDB2.gif)

After these posts I went for a nice drive all over Napa Valley (IMG:style_emoticons/default/MDB2.gif)

When I have a job delay I love to play "cars".
Don't you?

This will be done in just 10 short days. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool_shades.gif)

Have fun, I know I am!

Mr. T.

One questions:

How did the car feel when you drove it after installing the "chassis stiff" kit?

As soon as I plopped down into the seat for the first time I new something good had happened! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

This set-up is GOLDEN. You can feel the responsiveness in the steering and cornering at all speeds. There is no comparison to stock. I can not feel any body flex what so ever. Go cart status.

Combined with all the other suspension mods I've been doing, this is really coming together.

I am ready for the next a/x...NOW!!!!

Randal, you've ridden in my car during each of my 3 events, so you will be the best judge after the next ride at Alameda.

Brad, where are they?

The rear window is reset. Was much simpler than I expected. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Door rubber and side roll bar pad/trim is back in.
Seat back pad/cushion should go in tomorrow.

Waiting for tan carpet kit and rubber/seals.

Fun, fun!

Of course summer time is top stowed road trips. Wife and I a headed to Sonoma for cheese tasting at Sonoma cheese Factory on the Square. Home of Sonoma Jack. Try the Pepato Dry Jack. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)

Black peppercorns in aged dry jack is right there.

BTW, I'm staying clear of Sears today.

When we get back, I'll put in the back pad, then go and try to start the six!

Recieved all the seals and replacement trims yesterday, thanks to Rich at HPH. Mark, thanks for the pick-up! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

Time to button this up. Carpet should arrive by the weekend. See you at the finish.

I installed the rear window seal and winshield hoop inner/door post seal today. Soap 'em up.

Kevin, honestly, I didn't shop around at all.

I like dealing with the guys at HPH. Thanks Rich and Brad. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

They are very helpful and don't rush to get rid of you. That is worth my sale alone.
The prices are what you would expect. Fair. Call them.

I also received excellant used roll bar and targa padded trims as well.

So much for ten days and I'm done.
Life will throw a curve at you now and then.

2 family deaths, family members having surgery,
2 week camp trip, 2 a/x's, 2 babies in the house for a weekend and employee get a hernia on my job. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

But, I'm back. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

Goal for today is to remove seats, test fit racing harnesses, install carpet kit, install back pad, install harness clip bolts, put seat back in and clip in belts.

Not likely to finish today...I'll try. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool_shades.gif)

Hope all is well Trekkor. sorry to hear about the loss.

Good luck with the interior. Be sure to post a pic with the carpet over the inner long kit. I am thinking that I will have to rename it the stealth reinforcement kit.
