I"m getting set to rebuild the pedal cluster, and have a Weltmeister bronze bushing kit from the PO, probably about 10 years old. This kit has a spirol type pin rather than a roll pin. Was the problem in these kits only with the roll pin or did it include infreior quality spirol pins too?
Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Harvey Attached image(s) |

The Welt kits come with a Spirol. I have never seen a roll pin in the kits. I would imagine as we post/talk about the kits we referred to them as "roll pins" instead of by their proper name... and thus the confusion. Buy a Porsche roll pin/spirol and throw that one away. I shot some pics and showed the difference between a new Porsche pin and a Welt pin... dont know where that thread is.. and the pics are at the office.
