wow. that is a hot looking car, even if it looks like it could use a little work.

One day, you'll want a 914 with a two stage wing.... One day, you'll want a V8.. One day, you'll want flares wider than the lane... One day, you'll wish you could get all that stuff off... Not today though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) M |

flood damaged car, salvage title and the bidding is "starting" at 9,000 bucks???
for some reason I want to say it looks like Ray(?) from Motormeister wrote that description...had to read it a few times to figure out what the heck was going on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The revolution rims look killer on that car....not too keen on the front bumper...it is a 'glass rear bumper or did they paint the rubber pad??? |

I have access to the copart.com site that auctions Salvages and wrecks. I saw that car when it was on there. The last time I looked, the bid was up to like $3500. I don't know what it finished at, but I guarantee it was nowhere near $9k. Probably real close to $3500. I considered making a run at it, but I am in the middle of selling my house, my fiances house and buying another house. We could wind up with 3 mortgages at once so no new projects. Also, if that motor filled up with water, its a rebuild. If it really appraised at $18k, I doubt the insurance co would have totalled it.
