FLATSIX is great, but they have enough work lined up to be choosy with the work that they do.
IAMCHAPPY is a good resource and he is very close. Auto Edge in Mahtomedi is a good option. Unfortunately there aren't many other air-cooled Porsche specialists around here. I actually live in Plymouth and know enough to be dangerous, so I could possibly provide a cursory report if you need someone in town to look at it. |

Sounds like you've been around 914's awhile. Do you know of German Auto Works out of St Louis Park? I just took in my '75 914 in to them to have some work done. I'm new to the vintage Porsche scene and wasn't sure where to take it. My 914 is a former circle track racer. A guy...forget his name...out of Edina used to race it. It held the record in its class for many years. May still hold it for all I know! |
