I couldn't find a detailed colour coded guide for refitting this switch.

Luckily I found 2 pictures of full / part wiring taken at strip down. Most of my tear down pictures were in the great PC crash of 2016.

My switch has 11 connections and is from a 1974 2.0 model. There may be variations. As this was taken from the car pre wired I do not know if it 100% correct as I could not test prior to stripping and right now I can't test to confirm. If it is wrong I would be grateful if someone can advise on corrections.

The connections and wire colours are as follows

58R grey with red stripe
30 single red
58L grey with black stripe twin wires
15 red with red and white stripe twin wires
K grey with yellow stripe
57 white with green band
56 red with white stripe and black twin wires
56K grey
58b black with blue stripe single wire
58a black with blue stripe multiple wires
30b green

*****Edited to correct positions 58a & b as per diagram below

Thanks for the diagram. I checked your site but couldn't find that.

Looks like I have my black/blues back to front
