Recapture Lake near Blanding. I saw a lot of things called Recapture. What they were recapturing (and why they couldn't seem to keep it captured) was something I never figured out.

Almost home to Flagstaff.

I figure that the number of bugs stuck to your windshield is an indication of just how much fun you had on your drive. You cannot even imagine how big my smile is just thinking about the Red Rock Classic! What a blast!! My thanks to the gang that put this together. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif) You Rock!

QUOTE (Gustl @ Sep 25 2005, 09:55 PM)
seems to be lots of fun

Oh yeah!

One of the most fun events was an impromptu race down Hwy 128 in the dark after Friday's dinner.

Ferg's 6 in the lead, Mike Wills next, me at the back. I didn't know who was leading, just knew they were fast so it must be a 6. Mike though someone else was behind who didn't have sway bars so he was seeing if the car could hang with them. It was the hardest I had pushed my car all day and I hung with them just fine. What a blast! We got out of our cars at the motel at about the same time and said almost in unison "Wow, that's the most fun we've had all day!" Considering how great the rest of the day was, that tells you how great this run was. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

John on the road. I think we were doing about 130mph here. I was just barely able to out run him to get this pic! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)
