It sure looks like the tranny has been moved back. Look how the driveshafts are angled forward.

Not a 928 trans axle. Way to short. Last time I wrestled one one them 928 tansaxles was when I put a new one in my car. Guess it was a fair matchup we both tip the scales at 150 lbs.
Rich I am so jealeous of that Euor Motor. Now get it in there son we are dieing here to see AND hear the all Porsche 914-8. Big flat torgue curve and gobbs of it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) |

GT lid is almost finished... Mesh is fit. Lid needs paint before final mesh install. My GT style lid is not for cooling. It's to display the cool motor.

I have a 95 M3 already. (Daytona Violett) Post it in the Classified section. BTW I built a 4 car garage during the time I should have been working on the car. Nice to have the garage but wished the car was done instead.

Someone with an early 928 can take a picture of the hose diagram from under the hood.

Thanks, That's a great idea. That's the answer! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) I'll post over on the 928 BBS. (Ya..right...) BTW guy's and gals. The 928 boards I've found have very little traffic. I have not been able to locate a real active board yet. Anyone with a 928 or 928 interest know of an active BBS?
Thanks for the later model diagram markd@mac.com. I think a few of the hoses are still the same. I'm getting closer. |

This is like the original 928 BBS...alot of expertise there. You'll also find alot of talent on the rennlist 928 board. But I'd start here (by the way...928's rock and I'll never sell mine!).
url to the original 928 BBS: http://members3.boardhost.com/928s4vr/inde....html?991937189 the rennlist BBS (go to water cooled area and select 928): http://forums.rennlist.com/ You can also talk to the "big three 928" shops. That would be: 1. 928 Specialists http://www.928gt.com/index.html 2. 928 International http://www.928intl.com/ 3. Devek http://www.devek.net/ Jim note: be prepared for the onslaught as they all will think it is soooo cool that you are doing this! |
