And more work... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif) Brad was trying to get his (passenger side) door hung before the guys (Dave, Mark, Randal and Andy) doing the drivers side did. But the drivers side guys WON. Competition is never far from a 914! |

Randal was busting ass on everything!! I think he did three or four times as much of the "grunt-work" as anyone else! Helping get the bench cleaned up properly (so the parts that were supposed to be level would be level!), helping get it all bolted together, helping take pieces off the tub, helping bolt the tub to the fixtures, helping put parts back on... Making a run for food... He was everywhere!

I agree, he even saved GTeener's butt by towing her back to the shop after her 5/50 warranty ran out (5 minutes or 50 feet from the shop).

This is excellent work guys (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
could be the most interesting thread ever... a definite classic. as harcore as it gets. I might come across as a total ignorant here, but i was wondering how the pulls are actually made. Are the fixture mounted to the car, and then pulled to some preset position on the bench? or are the fixture mounted to the bench and then their respective mounting points on the chassis pulled to have a perfect fit? Anyway, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smiley_notworthy.gif) to you guys |

QUOTE What happened to it in the first place? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Did I miss something? YEA! Isn't there a Thread where you talk and/or show the Measurements of when you first became aware that something wasn't right? Andy? Where is that info? I had forgotten that it was the "Shall I say 3.6..." thread that I first read about your tub problems. think I'll take some measurements of my own, very curious about my own 914. |
